About Our Rescue

Bulldog Rescue of Arizona was created in 2006.  Kathy Rea had previously been undertaking the rescue work of bulldogs under the Phoenix Bulldog Club.  As unfortunately more and more bulldogs were being given up, the need and demand increased, it was decided that rescue separate from the club and incorporate on its own to allow for non profit status.  The club gave its full support and transfered all allocated rescue funds to Bulldog Rescue of Arizona.  Since then Bulldog Rescue of Arizona has continued to grow and work on behalf of the bulldog breed, and has placed over 80 bulldogs successfully into new homes.
